Over sizing your appliances will cost more to install, more to operate annually and more in maintenance. Upgrading the home before replacing the heating or cooling equipment makes the most sense. Changing the heating or cooling appliance first then doing upgrades to the home will make properly sized equipment over sized after the upgrades to your home.

What you need to do to get an accurate heat loss and/or heat gain

1. Measure accurately - Your accuracy improves our accuracy.
2. Fill out the forms completely (questions? Just ask--call or email)
3. Quick drawing of exterior note direction of one side --- Not looking for artists -- View drawing 1 and drawing 2
or digital photos of all four sides (outside only please)
4. Choose plan from above - A one time heat loss and heat gain or Premier - upon request we make suggestions for upgrades to the home first, assist in heating/cooling appliance choice, suggest questions to ask contractors up to one year from date of heat loss.

5. Fill forms on-line, download excel file (you must have excel to use this form), Mail, email or Fax to Comfort-Calc for processing.
6. Pay Via Paypal - We do not process until we are contacted by paypal.

We suggest printing the Extra Calculation Worksheets below to enter information when measuring, than transfer to Excel form and use the drop down boxes on the excel form to improve accuracy of your information.

When the files opens click on the bottom page tab titles "Instructions"

This will supply the most detailed information on the content we need to run the most accurate heat loss. It gives you options for the most accurate decisions. It is more time consuming to fill in but gets the most accurate. It will save the most on your monthly fuel bills. Most information is included in a drop down box and each line has a comments box at the end of the row to clarify any information you may want to express more info. Remeber to open the bottom tab titled instructions first!

You can now fill out the forms on-line and they will automatically email to us when you hit the submit button. I suggest you download and print the forms from above and fill them out. Than transfer this information to the on-line forms or excel form. I feel this is the best way due to some faxes were not real clear or part of the tops or bottoms were cut off. Some of the handwriting is hard to read especially after being faxed. The below link will take you to a required information form and when submitted it takes to the worksheets automatically. When each room is submitted it will return you to another blank worksheet. When all rooms have been submitted, just click the Home Page link at the top of the page and it will return you to the home page. If using the excel form just fill it out and e-mail back to us.

Just supply us the manufacturer's name and model number of the outdoor unit, order it and it will be shipped directly to you. A free sample of the material used is available upon request. It must be requested on the order form. If you are requesting a free sample on the order form and no manufacturer name or model number is specified on the form there is not a charge. There will only be a charge if these areas are filled in.
