Who is Comfort-Calc?

We are dedicated to offer heat loss caclulations to properly size furnaces, boilers and air conditioning. This is the most important step to maximize fuel savings. When a heat loss is not done to properly size furnaces, boilers and air conditioning you will spend more on fuel by oversizing your boiler furnace or air conditioning.

Comfort-Calc will do a heat loss calculation, or a heat gain calculation for your home, to get the correct btu's for you new heating and/or air conditioning equipment. A new furnace, hot water boiler, steam boiler or air conditioner that did not have a heat loss or heat gain calculation performed is more than likely oversized. This will only increase fuel consumption and maintenance costs.

    Replacing you heating and cooling equipment is not a guessing game, rule of thumb calculation, amount of radiation in your home or  what size equipment you now have. None of this matters. The only thing that maters is a heat loss and/or heat gain calculations. New heating and air conditioning equipment is more efficient than the old equipment. This long term investment is worth the extra time and negligible cost!
